I think what he meant was playing your console at home, and then being able continue that same experience even if your not home with a handheld, replacing it tho? nah |

| It would be cool to see handhelds take over consoles but also act as them. You could plug your handheld into a TV and use a conventional controller, and play it like a traditional handheld on the go.
It would simplify things. Instead of owning a Wii and a 3DS, you could own one Nintendo platform that acts as both a handheld and a console. It doesn't seem too unlikely, given the recent trend of hardware developers trying to cram every possibly functionality into their products (like how the iPhone is a multimedia player, GPS, and camera, as well as host to a large library of applications). ___________________________ Check out my blog, MAG Journal! |

| Developers are thinking about the future. They're thinking about the $$$$.
Same goes for hardware manufacturers. The money is in handhelds. Wherever the largest serving of money is, they'll eventually flock there.
The NGP, a handheld, is apparently up-to-par with the current generation of consoles. |

| I could never get immersed in a game when it came to handhelds, imo they are only good for on the go gaming.
The day they stop making consoles is the day I stop gaming, without trying to sound like a cry baby.
There is just to much money in home consoles and its software when it comes to gaming and I can't see Sony, MS or Nintendo ditching it. |
