| Anyone excited for this game? It's developed by id Software (Wolfenstein 3D, Doom, Quake) the grandfather of the FPS genre.

| I have been excited ever since it had an article in GameInformer (over a year ago I think). The game looks great. |

It's not just an FPS, its an FPS RPG hybrid, a lot like Borderlands. |

Well you mentioned Duke Nukem and Crysis 2, which are just FPS's. This one is an RPG with FPS elements, much like Borderlands was a Grab and Loot RPG with FPS elements. |

| According to id, the game has been described as a FPS/RPG/Racing hybrid.
Also, Noel, Rage will most likely be better than any other FPS this year.
It's id Software, bitch. Sadly, no Carmack. |
