I've played many Star Wars video-games over the years. Sadly, I never got around to the KOTOR series, which I heard was really good and groundbreaking for its time. I plan on visiting them at some point, in the future. With that being said, I did play the horrendously bad Force Unleashed games. Good god, those games were underwhelming and full of bugs. However, here is some of my favorite SW games that I have played and thoroughly enjoyed.

This game was the SHIT for the Nintendo 64. One of my first video-games, and it was a pretty hard game too. I sadly never beat it, and haven't even touched the game in over a decade. So awesome though. You mostly played as an X-wing controlled by Luke Skywalker, during events originally between Episode IV and Episode V. as It was notable for being one of the first games to taked advantage of the Nintendo 64's Expansion Pak, which increased the resolution for the game.

Another solid game. Based off the SW: Clone Wars source material, which took place between Episodes II and III of the prequel series. The game mostly consisted of vehicular combat, but it also had combat on the ground. Motherfucking Mace Windu and Anakin Skywalker were playable in this game. It even had multiplayer that you could play with a friend, locally. The game didn't get world-smashing reviews, but I certainly loved it. I played the hell out of it, probably beat it like 6 or 7 times over. I would re-live it again today, if I still owned the game.

Got this game for the PS2, and I was absolutely blown away by it. It felt like you were playing and participating in actual wars and battles, set in the Star Wars Universe and based on the films. There was so much to do, so many places to go and explore, and so many battles to fight. You could control all four factions from the prequel era and from the original era. IMO, this is one of the best video-games of all-time. The online-play for this game was revolutionary for its time, and had one of the biggest online communities for a PS2 game. I never got around to playing any more Battlefront games, but I look forward to picking up and playing the new SW: Battlefront game coming out next year. DICE better deliver the goods to the fans. We've been waiting long enough for a true HD, next gen Star Wars: Battlefront experience.

The First KOTOR aged quite poorly, I find it hard to really get into and enjoy now.  Battlefront was awesome on PS2, but I really doubt DICE will deliver.  The visuals, the sounds, the perspective...  It all just seems like Battlefield with Stormtroopers.

KOTOR is easily my first, and Battlefront II is my close second.

Mecha doesn't play games, he judges their value based solely on comic book characters,
